  1. Hey Katerin - That image is tiny? Can you upload a bigger image. The same happend with your storyboards. Is that what you are doing or Google?

    Note: The side view is not quite right - face, hair, no ears, centre of gravity is off (he lookd like he is falling backwards), he has no heels, etc. Getting two views that 'are your character' is hard. All artists struggle with that. The way to figure it out is go back to the absract shape structure in the view that is working (front) and look at what you used to build it. For example, the head is a sphere and with a U shaped volume added at the bottom. If you can upload (here or on Basecamp) I will draw over your drawing and show you what I mean,

Character Textures

  Here are the textures I created using substance painter for my child character I used a combination of  Paint layers with a fill effect to add an overall colour to the UV. To achieve the freckles and details on the face I used a black layer mask and painted over it with different texture brushes to reveal the fill layer colour.  I have also added 3 different skin layers stacked on top to achieve a textured feel on the skin.
