Coin
Here is an example of two different coins been animated. Number 1 has been evenly spaced well number 2 starts of with closer spacing and then gets further apart then close again.
Number 2 is more realistic due to how it is spaced out. For example, when an object starts moving it will gradually gain speed then slow down at the end. This is why in number 2 we have added large spacing in the middle less at the ends. This gives it a more realistic motion, you can also see that the timing does not change between number 1, and 2. it is just the spacing.
Here we have a pendulum swinging on a string, number 2, and 1 and the wrong way to do it. This is due to the way object in motion have a natural curve to them unless it is something mechanical, made to function a certain way.
For example number 1 has even spacing and has no curve, is is wrong because it does not obey the laws of animation, of everything in motion has to have a curve. Number 2 has the curve but does not have large spacing in the middle and less on the end.
